If you have read my previous posts, you know I love walks. I’m not a gym person, although I take an aerobics class once a week. I love yoga and breathing exercises. They help me keep my body, mind, and attitude in good shape. My favorite everyday exercise though is taking a walk. I love taking long walks along the ocean or going into Manhattan where I can travel everywhere on foot. It is easy now when the temperature is not too hot. One of my favorite places to hang out is the Union Square Farmers Market. I go there to pick up any organic produce I need or just to browse. I love smelling the scented herbs, the beautiful flowers, or tasting the samples of raw honey and goat’s cheese. Sometimes I pop into Barnes & Noble or go to my regular yoga studio for a quick meditation. After walking around for a long period of time, I love to sit in a park or on a bench with some good ice cream dripping down my fingers. I wish I had days like these more often; where I can walk till my feet hurt, but I am so happy. Just this simple way of spending the day brings me a lot of pleasure.
