Don’t you love those days where everything works well? When you get a lot done and people smile and respond very positively and there is some fun and a lot of laughter? I love days like this. I feel good about myself during on these days and want to put my mind towards creating more happy days like this.
Each day we wake up is a miracle, a precious gift. I used to take it for granted, going through a day on auto pilot, without noticing the beauty around me. Now I am happy to meet each new day with gratitude. Whether I work or have a day off, I treat each day in a special way. Each day has a different energy; somedays bring new ideas and enthusiasm, wonderful weather. These days flow easily and happily. Other days have a serious, mean, and down energy about them. I realized that finding a golden balance between happy and serious is the key.
One day I promised myself that I had to learn how to have great expectations for everyday life. At that time I was aware that our expectations become reality. So I decided to commit to training my mind into seeing life on the bright side no matter what. Here I made a priority to feel good and go through the day with a good mood.
However, I don’t overwhelm my days doing many tasks. Two or three tasks a day is all that you need to be productive. In my training routine I included things like learning to slow down, reducing stress by allowing the day to take its own course and flow naturally, without imposing my ideas or expectations too much. I find that on days that I have a strict idea on how I want it to go, and more often than not they don’t go exactly how I would prefer, I get stressed out. It is much better to be flexible and embrace what comes my way with an open mind and appreciation. Letting go and being in harmony with myself is very rewarding. To go into each day with good expectations in mind, respect, love, and reverence is a work of art.
I have learned to make a day work for me by setting some time aside to do something special for myself. Whether it is a facial, foot massage, a long talk with a friend, or just a cup of tea alone somewhere to gather my thoughts, it always feels good to get a breather. A day without flowers just isn’t complete for me. A bouquet of beautiful flowers brings me joy. I use fresh flowers in a vase to celebrate the day. Loving your everyday life is an art; the art of living healthy, happy, with passion, and positivity for life.
