I have just three things to teach: simplicity, patience, compassion. These three are your greatest treasures. —Lao Tzu
I was beginning to wonder about simplicity. When I keep things simple, I have more time on my hands, and I can spend it as I like. I can always use more time. My plan was to get rid of junk and clutter, create a mess-free environment, and take pride in my home. My goal was to simplify my life, and have fewer things, and at the same time, free myself from any negative attachments. I could clear and refresh space both physically and mentally. I had a goal, and I was ready to find tools to achieve it.
My environment can be messy or neat, negative or positive, or simple or complicated. Investing in beautiful, harmonious surroundings can contribute to my healthy and happy lifestyle. It can help bring comfort and good fortune into my everyday work, career, and relationships.
