There is a magic about 5th avenue. Especially when the weather is sunny and warm. When I am sad one of the ways I like to cheer myself up is by going to Tiffany’s, Central Park, the Paris Theater, or the Plaza Hotel. The Plaza Hotel has a lot of history. So many movies filmed, exceptional weddings planned, proposals made, lunches and brunched enjoyed, plus so much more! I love having brunch there. I feel as if I’m entering a different world of luxury; the delicious taste and the elegant presentation of the food, great ambiance, charming atmosphere, and of course great location! Central Park is the Plaza’s nearest neighbor and as you sip on tea or munch on a finger sandwich, it looks so inviting and beautiful at this time of year. It is as if Mother Nature is telling you it is time for a pleasant walk. Another neighbor of the Plaza is the movie theater, The Paris Theater. It is a cozy theater with interesting movies to go and see. The cool atmosphere provides a nice retreat from the hot city streets during the summer. When my life’s journey brings me to the Plaza I like taking photos, creating memories and surrounding myself with the extravagance that is so associated with this hotel. It is like a one stop for bliss. The beauty, the magic, the joy, and the enchantment of this spectacular place makes me happy every time I go there. Yes, location does matter.
