“Each day is a new opportunity. I choose to make this day a great day.”
—Louise Hay
Hello, morning! I appreciate your beauty. There’s magic about a new day. Each one is a miracle and a precious gift. Isn’t it wonderful that we can start fresh each morning and make our days more inspiring, useful, interesting, and entertaining.
Loving your everyday life is an art—the art of living healthy, happy, passionately, and positively, and inspiring others to do the same. Whether I work or have a day off, I treat each day in a special way. Each one has a different energy; some days bring new ideas and enthusiasm. These days flow easily and happily. Other days have a serious, mean, and down energy about them. I realized that accepting the day, whatever its mood is, is the key.
Morning is the best time to set a positive intention for a magical day. When I think positive thoughts, my mind, body, and spirit are in sync. So I wake up every morning and say aloud, “Today I have a feeling that I’ll have a wonderful day, and I’ll enjoy whatever it brings.” Whatever comes today, I want to be agreeable and make it a priority to feel happy and to feel peaceful about myself and within myself. When I have access to the positive, I can paint the day in bright, vivid colors. Everything seems easy, nice, and enjoyable.
Each day begins the previous evening, with comfortable bed and pillows, a dark and cozy bedroom, and sweet dreams. After a good night’s sleep, I wake up refreshed, with pleasant thoughts and words to greet the day. I take a few moments before getting up to think about what I want from the day. I plan each day with a combination of eating well, drinking plenty of water, exercising, completing some accomplishments, and having a sunny attitude toward myself and others. I have a strong intention in creating a favorable day and the determination to be in a light and flexible mood and be generous with anyone I meet on my way—friends, family, coworkers, and strangers.
